I love Spring, when nature wakes up from the drabness of Winter and everything busts into life. It's like all of the creatures suddenly wake up and don't have a moment to waste as they all preen, show off, scout and build there way into their season.
I'm truly blessed to live on a 4,000 acre working farm nestled between the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors and the stunning North Yorkshire coast, where my buddy Obi and I walk daily through the fields, hills and woods at the back of our home surrounded by the inspiration for my work.
I was thrilled to be signed by one of the UK's leading contemporary art publishers, Wishbone in 2023 and my debut series was aptly named 'Spring walks with Obi' - my homage to nature's Spring awakening and the behaviours and quirks of the animals we see every day during this special time of year.
I made the decision to leave Wishbone in March 2026 to become an independent artist and I'm looking forward to the the next exciting chapter in my art story.
You don't need a ticket for some of the greatest shows on earth - the dancing pheasants, the boxing hares, the gravity defying Swallows. Inspiration is all around me.
